How long does it take you to make decisions?
Do you get frustrated or waste a lot of time trying to make decisions?
We’re going to change that today by showing you how to improve your cognitive function related to making decisions so that deciding becomes something you can do quickly and well.
Thinking is not one big thing. Thinking is made up of 28 parts called cognitive functions.
When a cognitive function is weak, it’s called a cognitive deficiency and affects all areas of our lives.
The cognitive function related to making decisions is being able to compare.
If you struggle with making decisions, you probably struggle with being able to compare correctly.
Think about it, in order to make a good decision, you’ve got to be able to compare correctly.
To compare currently you’ve got to make sure you’re comparing on the same parameters.
You can’t say this is tall and that it is red.
You’ve got to say this tall, that’s short. This blue, that’s red.
To practice, take random items in your house and compare them on the same parameters.
Apple - Red, Carrot - Orange
Apple - Fruit, Carrot - Vegetable
Make it even more challenging by comparing more than 2 things.
Compare an apple, orange, banana and a kiwi all at the same time.
Once you have this skill of comparing on the same parameters, it’s time to make your decisions.
To make your decision you’ve got to decide with of your parameters is MOST important.
So, before you go to Best Buy to choose your laptop, decide what’s most important - Price? Brand? Color? Screen size etc.
This way you wouldn’t be saying I like the 18-inch screen on this laptop, but I like the sale one that laptop.
You’ll already know what’s most important to you.
For those of you saying, I have more than one priority, it comes back to comparisons. Which one of your priorities is MOST important?
Your challenge is to find random items around your house and compare on the same parameter.
