But you’ve known from marketing gurus, you’ve got to make it stupidly simple to read.
Is it worth putting in another few hours to make your sales page even easier and simpler to understand?
The work that you put it in to make it even easier to understand, is instead of your potential client needing to do the work.
The difference is, if your brain works hard, it will get more customers.
If a stranger looks at your sales page and it has to work hard to understand it, they will simply close the tab.
Our brain is wired for survival. It doesn’t want to work hard.
Just like you don’t want to work hard to break it down into simpler-to-understand content, your potential client doesn’t want to work hard to understand what it needs to do.
The easier it is for them to read and understand it, the more likely they’ll buy simply because they’ll actually read and understand it.
Now let’s take it another level -
Different things will be challenging for people based on their strong/weak thinking skills.
Some people need diagrams or images as they struggle with abstract thinking.
There are people who need to see the words,
While others, understand better by watching a video.
You’ll most definitely have more people understand with easier vocabulary and simpler shorter, sentences.
Make it on a 5th-grade level. Really.
The more ways you are able to make your marketing simple, less lingo, and easier to understand, the more people will actually consume it and buy from you.
